Something I noticed while watching. The practice is being done at noon, so the shadow is directly below the ball. This sounds pointless, however whenever the ball goes offscreen, the shadow stays, so you can use the shadow to tell where the ball is going. So it is not the game being confused, but the ball either did, or didn't go out of bounds. I hope this helped :)
